When the weather gets cold, we know it is time to move indoor for pictures. After a beautiful fall this year and wonderful sessions, I was ready for transitioning my cameras into somebody`s home, and capture their family in their own environment. It is great to see them snuggle together in their cozy sofa! This lovely family was the first one to ask me to come to their home to take pictures of their son, Martin, who just turned three months old. I have met Martin before, just about two weeks before the session, so this was my second time seeing him. This was Martin`s first professional photo session and I think he enjoyed it. I have visited Katya and Frank home on previous occasions and I knew how amazing it would be for their portraits after Martin`s awaited arrival in June. I love their décor, and even though I have brought a few props, I was happy to use what they had: vintage chandelier for some fun family photos. The yellow wall worked out to be a perfect place to take a photo of Martin and the old telephone. Somewhere half way during our session Martin decided to take a nap and gave us a opportunity to take some nice close up solo portraits of him. I do not want to forget to mention about another member of this family, who also seemed enjoying pictures taking…Katya and Frank`s dog: Mocha. You could see he was very excited about baby’s first portraits and wanted to be included in them too. He was very well behaved. Katya’s baby son is a really curious little guy and he loved the airplane that I brought. Interestingly enough, Frank wanted to buy him exactly the same one. I had so much fun photographing this wonderful family. Stay tuned for more pictures of Martin’s cousin Ivan who is just two weeks old!
