Carolyn and Paul are a very charming couple; from our first meeting to discuss the photographic needs for their wedding, I had a great impression of them, and I was confident that their pictures would turn out lovely. As I learned more about their wedding, I could not wait to their big day.
Carolyn & Paul’s beautiful wedding was held at the McLean House, part of the Sunnybrook Estates. It is the perfect place to have a wedding. From the morning soft light shinning through the windows, Carolyn got ready in the upstairs bridal suite, overlooking the ceremony site that would take place in a tranquil and luscious garden. Cocktails were served at the terrace, where Carolyn and Paul shared them with their guests. After that, the wedding photography, and I was very satisfied with the plethora of possibilities for getting pictures taking in the garden, or McLean house itself. I found the Georgian-style mansion stunning, with its two storey spiral staircase, which served as a perfect frame for beautiful pictures of the couple. Other great locations to mention were the walnut paneled dining room, as well as a large formal living room with an adjoining conservatory, where the reception took place.
I really enjoyed their wedding. The greatest memory was that no matter what happened, whether it rained or it was sunny, Paul kept Carolyn laughing all day. She smiled so much that I am sure her cheeks were hurting by the end of the day. Those are the best moments to capture – the true reflection of their love for each other!
